So I was googling myself today for no particular reason…

I found old blogs that I didn’t realize had been reblogged, found a poem on Poetry Nook and like….how did it get there??? I vaguely remember submitting to there circa 2012 (or earlier). But anyway, there’s a poem there and it’s really bad (also there’s no date for when it was posted).

I also found this gem of a quote from an old blog someone had reposted:

“Editing is like polishing silver, except with a blindfold, and the blindfold is on fire, and you are banging your head against a wall trying to put the flames out while still polishing the silver.”

Oh wow. I apparently was in a mood when I wrote that.

Anyway back to what this is supposed to be.

AUGUST WRAP UP

So August was….well whatever to be honest. There isn’t much to wrap up, and I’m really just sort of glad August is over so we can move to my favorite month *drumroll*

SEPTEMBER.

It’s gonna be a good month because I’m saying it’s gonna be. Summer has sucked, but September is coming to make everything right in the world.

Things I’m looking forward to/doing in September:

• Decorating, decorating, decorating for fall
• continuing to read a 800 page book on the Vietnam War because I’m one of those people.
• Figuring out what I want to do for NaNoWriMo (hahah actually NOT looking forward to that. Because I have no idea what to do. I mean I have ideas, but…..I just really don’t know)
• Working on final edits (the querying train is calling my name)
• And….just enjoy life????

I’m also going to be getting busier in September, but rest assured that I will still be posting at least once a week.

Fun fact: if you listen to Spotify premium off your computer and play any Star Wars songs (even covers) the time bar will turn into a freaking LIGHTSABER. Or laser sword, if you prefer that.
