I watched Star Trek: the Motion Picture this week which I haven’t watched in YEARS. My sister had never seen it before and….I don’t think she was that impressed (honestly, it was a looooooot sloooooooower than I remembered it being.) Also watched the Money Pit which I almost cried laughing so hard.

Basically all I’ve been doing is watching movies and eating (*lie detectors beeps* ok fine fine fine fine. I’ve been working and working out  and etc etc.)

Let’s move on from the sundry.

As much as all of us introvert writers claim that we’d rather just stay inside and watch movies and read books and curl up with a nice cup of tea and a yummy snack (because I do), we also need, crave, inspiration.

And a lot of that comes from leaving our house and doing things.

Of course because of extenuating circumstances this is a little difficult at the moment. And makes it far more obvious to me how DOING things affects my writing.

Even blog posts. Usually I have a fairly easy time coming up with content (it’s not always easy and there are bad months but whatever) yet right now? It’s been painstaking. I’m pulling teeth from a hungry raptor. Nothing going on, so there’s nothing to say.

Well, almost nothing. I’m still prattling on, aren’t I?

Writing Update

I’m plugging in my handwritten edits of Lily into Word, and it’s coming along rather nicely. I feel pretty good about the story and don’t hate staring at it yet (win win).

Ok. That’s all I got to say. Gonna go clean out the garden.
