So I haven’t blogged in a few weeks (my sincerest apologies), but we are driving to KY for a convention (whoopee. Thol and I get to sit around for three days at a booth doing practically nothing) and this past weekend was my dance recital (!!!!!!!!!!!!).
And that was awesome. My dance paws are thoroughly ripped up now. And I’m quite amazed at how fast I changed costumes and did my hair (with the aid of Thol). Thankfully nothing went wrong with that, except at rehearsal when the strap to my pointe costume broke.
And my little girls did great! (four/three year old class that I assist). Though one of the girls (the one who was supposed to) ran to get the flowers and then another girl did to…..but it ended up ok. And Mom was quiet impressed with the older class I also assist.
And Lion King (that’s where the pic is from. Taken by Mom with her fancy new camera). The opening. That went so, so, so, so well. And I’m kinda bummed now that that is the last time I’ll be doing it. Same with my other contemporary dance. Ballet I’m quite relieved.
So then I took some pictures of the flowers:
Ok, so I took a lot of flower pictures (there is even more actually.) And I wanted to see if I could get some shots of a bird because I was having a lot of fun with Mom’s camera. But there were no birds. So I saw a bee and took its portrait instead:
And now we are here in KY (well, I started writing on the road but didn’t finish till now, while in reality we arrived a few hours ago.)
Well, that’s all for now folks.
P.S we were driving and were surrounded by trees….
Mom, “Those forest are thick.”
Me, “They look exciting.”
Mom: ….”pretty flowers.”
