(I’m cold right now. Yes. Cold. But it’s really pretty outside so its worth it)
This week I decided to take some pictures of my Breyer horses in the snow (since I don’t have any real horses to take pictures of, sadly.)  So here are a few I edited (or a lot….)

So, this little guy started the whole thing. His name is Ash (he would approve greatly of the drama of his picture, because is kinda the head of the foal herd, and thinks he the toughest of them all.) and I dropped him in the snow and didn't notice for a while. I almost lost him....and he was quite upset, going on and on about "and all the things I've done for you!" So I thought I should introduce everyone to the "herd"

Yes, the herd. Thol and I have collected (and played with) Breyer horses for a while. It would be a very long blog post if I introduced everyone (like I did here with some others fond childhood toys) so I would just do the foals.

This is Spark. He's the real cutie of the bunch, but is the most shy. He is also the nephew of Ash.

This is Loki (his mother's name is Darcy) he just arrived at Christmas and believes that he can be in more than one place and disappear and such.....but, can't.

Fili and Kili. That's why I wrote parts of the song of the dwarves under their pictures. They are not quite in the herd yet. They prefer going on there own adventures....except....

Alena. Also known as "Dirt". She was the first foal, and remains the only girl. I also think she is beginning to like Fili, probably because they are the same color.

Ash and Ironhawk. They are the leaders. Ash is actually, Ironhawk (or "Iron Man" as Mom said) is his right-hand man (horse?) They are best buds, and think they are really tough, probably due to the fact that Ash's father is the head of one of the biggest herds, as Ironhawk's grandfather is his brother. They are second couins....I think.

Oh! And! This week I finished all my projects I’ve been working on (not including writing. That is never ending. It’s like running up an escalator going downwards) so I started a new project yesterday, and finished it. Because I saw this leftover fur in the basement (btw,  we have so, so, so much fabric. Scraps, rolls, whatever. I just organized it yesterday because I was getting overwhelmed.) and made this:

‘cuz I love fur. :)

P.S Book review? Yes, I finished Gone with the Wind. Haven’t written anything, yet. Hopefully I will.

  1. I loved you photos! They are sooo cool! It makes me want to take my horses out into the snow too… though the rest of the campus would think I am crazy… I would probably end up lying on my stomach in the snow and getting into all sorts of odd positions attracting weird stares… I can’t believe you only have one girl foal! I never noticed that! I probably have more boy foals than girl ones too though… I would have to count. I loved this post… sooo happy to see you back again on your blog! Makes me happy…
