I have taken a new direction with my blog. As you can probably see.
I’ve decided to do less of the “slice of life” posts (since I tend to get stuck if nothing happens that jabs out at my like a fresh knife. Wait, knives aren’t fresh, unless they just came out of the dishwasher. So never mind.) and more of my latest art projects…aka, drawing, Etsy, writing….and I hope to post every Sunday. Hope, not “will” (though I am bound and determined.)

Lately I’ve been doing a lot of drawing with marker, including a failed silhouette of Gandalf leading his horse. The sky looked like a map of the continents instead of clouds (blushing faintly in the dawn). I think it was partially due to the fact that the sky was yellow and the clouds deep blue…..Then I drew an owl, and that succeeded.

I'm learning ways to transfer images to fabric, so maybe I can start making things like that and selling them on Etsy.

And then I drew another drawing (You can see the previous drawing  here) based off some pictures I took of Maggie in the metroparks.

This picture makes my happy. :)

I started drawing another one. It might become a series. (“Field Trip at the School for Young Pixies” it was either Thol or Maggie who said that she (Maggie) looked like a pixie on a field trip (or something along those lines) that day at the metroparks.)

P.S There might be a book review next week, because I am very close to finishing Gone with the Wind.
P.P.S I also started making felt bangles for our Etsy shop. :)

So I started making mismatched felt bangles, these ones are almost finished. I also did a space-themed one. ;)
